Affiliated Independent Events

Are you organizing an event you would like to affiliate with the 9th IAS Conference on HIV Science (IAS 2017)? If so, why not apply for Affiliated Independent Event status and benefit from our diverse network of followers to increase the visibility and promotion of your event?

Affiliated Independent Events can take the shape of anything from workshops, pre-meetings, forums to even galas. We encourage you to use your creativity when developing your event to address HIV in new and original ways.

There is no cost involved in applying for affiliated status and all approved Affiliated Independent Events will be published on the conference website, as well as promoted on IAS 2017 social media channels.

Submissions closed on 30 June 2017.

All IAS Affiliated Independent Events must:

• Reflect and support the conference objectives and Principles and Values of the Conference Participation
• Take place between 1 May – 31 July 2017
• Not take place at the IAS 2017 venue, Le Palais des Congrès de Paris
• Not take place during the official conference programme hours which are:
  
  
  Sunday, 23 July 2017:

  09:00 – 20:45
  Monday, 24 July & Tuesday, 25 July 2017:

  07:00 – 20:30
  Wednesday, 26 July 2017:

  07:00 – 20:00

Please note that the conference organizers of IAS 2017 reserve the right to approve or reject any Affiliated Independent Event and are not responsible for the organization or final content of any such event; the content and management of the event is the sole responsibility of the event organizers.
