Traffic disruptions for the Tour de France

The Tour de France cycling race finishes in Paris on Sunday, 23 July. Traffic disruptions are expected, particularly if using land transport such as buses or taxis.

  • If you are travelling into Paris by taxi or car, we strongly advise taking the Boulevard Périphérique ring road and avoiding the centre. Be aware that the cycling route will enter Paris from the south.
  • If you are arriving at Paris Orly airport, speak with your driver to plan the best route.
  • Travelling within the city, the metro is the mode of transport expected to be least affected. Porte Maillot station will remain open throughout 23 July.
  • Road closures within the centre and around the cycling route will likely remain in force from 9:30 to 23:00 on Sunday, 23 July.

The maps below provide an overview of the route and affected areas.
